The Portex Thermovent® T - Heat and Moisture Exchanger (HME) offers humidification for naturally breathing or ventilated patients with a tracheostomy tube. It's compatible with the Portex Thermovent 02 and other breathing systems, featuring a lightweight design that minimizes tracheostomy tube drag. This HME captures and returns heat and moisture during expiration, reducing the risk of tube blockage. It can be used for 24 hours, easily detected for contamination with a clear housing, and allows quick access for suction catheter use to eliminate secretions.
