2. What will be nebulised?
Check that the device and handset are suitable for the medication or saline prescribed. Mesh nebulisers are not compatible with every formulation. Ask your clinician or pharmacist if you are uncertain.
3. Who will use it?
For a child, check that the mask and chamber are age appropriate. Home use of nebulised rescue treatment for asthma in children should be initiated and managed by an appropriate specialist.
