The BLUselect Suction aid tracheostomy tube has a clear suction line terminating above the cuff that allows pooled secretions to be aspirated.

The suction line terminates with a connector for suction devices and a port to connect to either a syringe or vacuum control valve.

The Suction aid tube can be used as part of a ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) plan.1
